SINGAPORE!!

SINGAPORE!!!

So Singapore was beautiful and is just like home except ridiculously expensive. I suggest everyone should visit it was great.  So, the first day started off with us getting off the boat and walking a through a maze to get out of the cruise terminal.  Once we got outside of security we ventured to find the cool cable cars that were above the ship that took us to Santosa Island. Santosa Island is an Island right off the coast of Singapore.  We went on the cable cars and got a beautiful view of Singapore and Santosa Island.  We got to get an above view of the ship which was pretty cool! When we got off the cable cars we walked and found a map so we could decide what we wanted to do.  We got on the blue line bus which are free on Sunday and headed down to Underwater World. Which is an aquarium that is half underground that has moving floor into a tunnel where you are surrounded by fish on all angles except the floor.  You could see the bottoms of all the different fish which was really interesting.  We also while we were at the Aquarium went to the Dolphin show which was very fun.  After we weren’t sure what we wanted to do so we headed back to our starting point because it was a central point on the Island.  We decided we were going to Mega Zip adventure park and see what they had.  When we got there they had four choices of things to do. You could Zip Line, Parajump, Ropes Course, and Rock Climb.  Kayla decided to Parajump and Zipline  and I decided to do that and also the Ropes Course. So we got harnessed up and went on our way. First I did the Ropes course on the Intermediate level. It was so fun and some parts were difficult but not too difficult for me to handle I had a lot of fun.  I completed it in about 9ish minutes which they said was pretty fast. When I finished that we did the parajump next. I went first.  What you did was you were harnessed in on your back and you jumped 5 stories and then got lowered to the ground. The guy counted to three and you stepped off falling straight down. They guy said I had a perfect landing! IT was great.  Kayla went after me. She was super nervous but she ended up doing it and had a lot of fun. After that we climbed back up the 5 flights of stairs and waited for the zipline. When it was our turn up we got hooked up and flew over the trees spinning around having a blast. It was a beautiful view of the beach and of the ocean with all the boats. It reminded me a lot of when I did the zipline in Haiti. Kayla got stuck and they had to throw her a rope and pull her in. It was pretty funny. After we finished that we weren’t sure what we were going to do. We had gotten tickets to the Butterfly Museum with our Aquarium tickets so we knew we were going to do that before we left the island.  We went and got some ice cream at a local ice cream shop and enjoyed the view. After we were done with our ice cream we headed over to the Butterfly place which was SO COOL since I am in love with butterflies. Then we saw some cool birds and Insects ( HUGE beetles) it was pretty cool. After that we decided to head back and rest for a bit before our Night Safari. Around 6 we headed over to the bus for the night safari. There were 3 busses full of people going to the night Safari. Since it was Halloween it was a haunted Night Safari which made it also very fun. We got a buffet dinner that was excellent. They had sushi and baby octopus which was very chewy.  After dinner we waited in a long line full of people to get on the tram. Finally we got on the tram and they scared me from the start. Now there wasn’t much protection from the animals on this Safari.  There was actually NO protection which was a little nerve racking but it was fun. The animals were all right there and they were all so beautiful. You couldn’t use flash photography so we took mental pictures. Along the trail there were people that popped out and scared you. It was a lot of fun. Not too scary but it was a lot of fun. The animals were all so cool. We saw an elephant that looked like it was injured but I we weren’t sure. After we finished the night safari and headed back to the ship we were all exhausted and just went to bed.
The next morning I got up bright and early to eat breakfast with a beautiful view of Singapore. After breakfast we headed off the boat to do some shopping. We took a cap to some plaza that the cab took us to and got some internet. I tried to call some of you peoples but it was late on a Sunday night so people were sleeepinggg.  But we get plenty of internet in Vietnam so no worries!  After we got internet we walked around the mall and noticed it was a high end mall that had  a Channel store and all high end stores that were veryyy expensive. So we ended up heading to Chinatown. Where we found some beautiful Souvenirs. After that we headed back to the ship for on Ship time.

Singapore overall was a bueatiful places that I would love to live if I could afford it. The food was excellent and everything there was great.
We will be in Vietnam in about 6 hours!

LOVE AND MISS YOU ALLL

<3 Amy
